Natural Translations was created by Maura Byrne after she worked as an in-house trainee translator and editor at United Nations Headquarters, New York, and the European Parliament, Luxembourg.Now based in Luxembourg, I continue to specialise in translation for international organisations and also offer translation and linguistic services to businesses and individual clients. My aim is to deliver high-quality texts in natural English. I provide translations from Spanish and French into English, and I collaborate with a small network of freelance translators working with other language combinations.
Qualifications and experience 2012/13 - Trainee translator and editor in the English translation department at the European Parliament 2012 - Translation intern in the English translation service at United Nations Headquarters, New York Freelance translator since 2011 working for international clients and translation companies in Luxembourg, Spain, France, Germany, the United Kingdom and further afield. MA in Translation and Interpreting Studies (Merit) from the University of Manchester BA in Spanish and French (II.I) from Trinity College Dublin Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) |
